@lantic, Vox’s consumer facing business unit will initiate the relationship by selling the NeoConnect Prime and NeoConnect Lite product sets to consumers through selected @lantic branches.
“We believe the Neotel products fill a much needed void in the SA consumer market & will ideally compliment our own range of consumer products says Paul Muller, Chief Operating Officer at Vox Telecom.
“We would like all of our operating companies, including Vox Telepreneur and even DataPro to sell the full suite of Neotel consumer & SME products”, says Muller, “however @lantic has an experienced, educated network of telco product sales outlets, and is the ideal channel to start with.
The appointment of Vox Telecom as a Neotel channel partner is another example of Neotel’s drive to establish a good channel distribution network in order to reach a wider market”, says Mukul Sharma, Head of the Consumer Business Unit at Neotel.
Vox has several operating companies, which when combined, have a large distribution & geographical footprint and good market awareness. “It is important that we have reliable and professional representation across the country, particularly where we have network coverage; by accessing the Vox Telecom dealer channel, we are able to reach even more consumers,” says Sharma.
In terms of the agreement, Vox Telecom will represent and procure customers for the sale of Neotel’s consumer products and service offering consumers another point of contact for basic technical and customer care needs as well as a point of sale for Neotel’s products. Neotel will continue to manage the billing and collections from these sales.
The partnership comes shortly after the announcement that Vox has signed Neotel as its preferred supplier of telecommunications infrastructure for enterprise customers.
